Guest guest
Dear Robin, Data suggests that for persons with hereditary pancreatitis, smoking doubles their risk of developing pancreatic cancer. Type in pancreatitis and smoking in your search engine (like Google) and it will give you all the information. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
Dear Robin: Any kind of fumes can be an irritant and cigarette smoke is one of them. I cannot tell you how many times I have spent weeks in the hopsital just from a burning cigarette or stale cigarette smoke. Even strong cooking smells can stimulate the pancreas. Actually, for me, cigarette smoke is my #1 trigger followed by paint fumes adn any other type chemical fumes. Also cigarette smoking is linked to pancreatic cancer. Hope this helps. Guest guest
..I know we are Akiba but why? I still say quitting smoking was the hardest thing I've ever done. And right after, I seemed to catch every darn bug around. And if I'm in a place where people smoke, my eyes start watering, etc. There must be a physial reason for it? ... hugs, Cait What's for dinner? What's for dinner at your house? Most of you have probably already eaten but I''m in Arizona so it's earlier here:) I am cooking some boneless pork in olive oil, garlic and black pepper. I threw in a few potatoes with the pork. And I am cooking a skillet of baby lima beans sauteed in a bit of olive oil, seasoned with only a little salt and garlic. The aroma coming from the kitchen is delectable .... hence my fixation on "what's for dinner":) hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
You and I are a lot alike Cait,…..i smoked for years and quit in 1981, and it seemed like I caught stuff more easily also. I can’t stand the smoke smell now, and my dad chained smoke and I had to tell him he couldn’t smoke in my house. He was good about going outside. I kept a butt can, and table and chairs on the porch. My girlfriend [that died last Aug.] she smoked too and whenever she gave me a present I had to keep it in the garage for a long time to air it out.
