hi Mike, on my right side (had both done) I get similar pain, but usually in

the stages of warming up and I think it comes from my feet landing way out

on the outside (high arches) so orthodics might help (try it). I found out

that a solid ankle rap that helps keep my foot straight helps a lot. Give it

a shot.

sciatic nerve

I was resurfaced just over 3 years ago in April 2001. I

have tried running on and off the last 2 1/2 years. The

biggest problem I am having is the sciatic nerve (or at

least what I think it is). I get a sharp pain below my

left buttocks which is the resurfaced hip. I can run

anywhere from 2 to 6 miles before it really acts up. I

have tried streching before and after running. Nothing

really seems to help. Anyone have experience with this.

I know advil would probably help. Looking for long-term

treatment.

Mike
