Guest guest
Hi All, I've got my op (Right resurf) on Wednesday at York District Hospital in England. I think I've got everything prepared and my bag packed. Wondered from your experiences whether there was anything you wished you had taken to hospital with you or any last minute suggestions to prepare? Being part of this group has been such a lifesaver so far in getting to this stage. Thanks to all of you who have answered my questions in the past. Love, Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen Two thoughts: - Some throat pastilles, as my throat was sore after both ops cos of the tube - Some straws cos you'll need to drink, drink and drink after the op to move the drugs through you (It saved me struggling up every time) - A pillow for the journey home, to rest the wound against All the best on Wednesday. ine Both sides: RHS 4/2003, RHS 3/2004 > Hi All, > I've got my op (Right resurf) on Wednesday at York District Hospital > in England. Guest guest
I would suggest earplugs ( hospitals are noisy) and good sleeping pills, as you will be unable to sleep on any surface other than your back for a while. Good luck on Wednesday, and keep us posted. C+ 4-04 > Hi All, > I've got my op (Right resurf) on Wednesday at York District Hospital > in England.
