A duckling was hatched early this morning. Unfortunately the momma duck "Cookie" decided she didn't like it. Momma chicken is setting eggs but she doesn't want the duckling either. So my 15 year old granddaughter brought the baby duckling inside to care for it. I didn't think it was going to make it but it is finally holding up it's little head and just drank water for the first time. I'll get photos soon to share. Right now it is black with a black bill and a yellow bib. There's nothing like a baby duckling to keep my 15 year old granddaughter happy and make her smile:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
