Guest guest
A coyote got one of our young hens late yesterday afternoon. She was a Barred Rock from last spring. The coyote is a large one (larger than coyotes usually are) and is a loner. We think it is a mix of wild dog and coyote perhaps. The same coyote came back this morning to the site of the kill. My son happened to be out there with his gun but he couldn't get a clear shot. My 15 year old granddaughter, , is the one who cares for the poultry. That hen actually belonged to . She is understandably distraught.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
AAwwww, poor chickkie...I know this is hard on , country living is not always pretty and it sure isn't Mother Earth news! I hope you guys are able to get the coyote, but I also am sorry whenever a critter has to be hunted just for trying to keep it's belly full. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- lousy "news" A coyote got one of our young hens late yesterday afternoon.
