Dang! If it's not one thing --it's a dozen others.

I may soon be in the same boat with ya because my laptop is overheating and getting slower and slower, shuts itself off sometimes... stuff like that. I think it may be the motherboard. (I hope I didn't say that out loud....)

Well, the worst has happened. My PC is dead. I mean, irretrievably dead. So until I win the lotto or someone decides they trust me enough to loan me some $$, and is ABLE to do so, or I can save enough to get one, I am going to have to use Robbin's. Which sucks. Now that I finally will have my finances more in order, *poof* And I can't get my incredimail to work so it looks like I am going to have to spend a lot of time getting stuff running on this unit the way I like, or close enough. Maybe next month I will be able to afford to have the guy come look at it, see if it is not fixable, but I think smoke coming out of the back is a pretty good indicator that she's dead, Jim..

I have recently made a local friend (finally, only been here a year!), will see if I can get her to take it to the guy in town, he won't charge me the $50 fee, just charge to look at it. We will see. And of *COURSE* it is Mercury Retrograde...*sigh*
