posterior or anterior incision?

I will probably go to Belguim in October for BHR. I was under the

impression that the incision is anterior so fewer muscles are

cut.After reading De Smets website, it looks like it could be a 12 "

posterior incision. Does he cut muscle? It sounds like he does that

to get a better view of the femur. Just curious. Pete
