Guest guest
Can anybody help with me with the different resuface implant designs. device vs. Corin and so on? So far, I've only talked to Dr. Amstutz at JRI and he of course believes heavily in the medical device. I'm not sure about the advantages of some of the others. How does one choose which one will be best? Dball63

All the resurfacing implants currently in use are made of the same material (ASTM F75 high carbide content Cobalt-Chrome-Molybdenum alloy). There are some differences in heat treatment and other details of the manufacturing process. The design of the Corin and devices is quite similar. There's no long term clinical evidence which suggests that any of these devices is superior. > So far, I've only talked to Dr. > Amstutz at JRI and he of course believes heavily in the > medical device.
