Guest guest
Guess what guys. I was suppossed to come home memorial day from the hospital but Mr Bigshot Resident didn't feel comfortable sending me home. BUt he did discontinue ALL my pain meds. I have been on high dosesss of either morphine IR or oxycontin for the last 6 years. I had to argue with everyone and finally my primary care doc called and insisted the morph9ine be restarted. Do you want to know why the resident DC'ed all my pain meds.............. " BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS EDS DOESN " T CAUSE PAIN " Yes, I swear this is what the resident kept telling the nurses. I believe this guys hands should be chopped off because he didn't even want to read the article about chronic pain and EDS and had no desire to even speak to me. Another generation of DR's that will need shock -a docs'. When will it end? Sue K
