Keeping a tiny bit of food in my tummy all the time seems to help a bit.

Resting and not moving around helps too. The doctor gave me a new

medication yesterday and I cant say I feel any better today but I have my

fingers crossed.

So disappointing about missing the conference though. ;(

Good news from there however.

called to say that she was able to get another roommate so I will not

have to pay the $200.00 room charge! It is so funny. it is a physician

that she meet and roomed with 10 years ago at a previous conference. This

person was booked at a different hotel and saw one of the notes that

had posted at the check in area of the conference. She came up to ,

tapped her on the shoulder and said " are you still looking for a room mate? "

told me she didn't recognize her at first and when she did she started

to ball she was so happy to see her! That is ! She loves everyone!

Also, she thinks there might be someone who is going to " purchase " my

conference fee! That is not a for sure thing but she was pretty sure that

Ann had someone in mind that had not paid yet so that might get refunded

too!

So that, at least, is all good news and a bit off my mind.

will not be alone.

I am not out a bunch for a conference I could not attend.

I am resting quietly ..

But.

I miss everyone already and I didn't even get there!

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. I hope your doctor can

help you with this ulcer - what an awful thing to have to deal with. I

think, at least for me, nausea and vomiting are two of the worse things to

have - it just makes you feel miserable all over.

I hope things improve for you soon and will be keeping you in my prayers.
