Finally got Home visit from RN who ACTUALLY read up on EDS :-)

Hi all,

Well, it finally happened. I had a call this morning from a RN who works for

the Social Services department. She came by this afternoon to visit me. Most

amazing was she told me she read up on my conditions before her visit. WoW! She

listened carefully to me and looked and read my medical supporting documents.

Then, she wanted to know if I had VEDS. Wow, she really was up to date. Well,

I will not know for sure until my skin test in a few months.

This RN is signing me up for a home aide who will help me two days a week. It

includes support for organization problems from my ADD. I will have help with

laundry and be driven on occasion to get food from the food bank people. All

of this is almost too good to believe. So, things are still improving. Caro
