Guest guest
Hi Lana, I should have mailed you, but haven't gotten to it yet.... I read your mails which you sent while I was in Denmark though... The neck is doing a whole lot better than it was, but I have some episodes. I hope to get to getting a docs appointment soon, but with the car gone, I haven't gotten anywhere I haven't had to go. And I need my own car to go there, because I can't get in with my wheelchair and I have to park just outside the door so I can take the crutches to go in. I can't bring my crutches on my lap in the manual chair, and leave the chair on the street... Nope... If things have been really bad and I can't make it in there, I am allowed to go to the ER in the day, even if you are obligated to go to your doc first in the day, but they make an exception for you in such a situation when you have him as a doc. They know that there's no elevator there. But for this I want to talk to my own doc first. And since it has calmed down quite a lot, I haven't been that worried. And the episodes haven't been as bad as it was, so it is not urgent. But I need to get down there quite soon... I'm really glad to hear that the PT has been making a difference. How wonderful!!! Nothing is better than that. But you just have to set limits as to how much they can do... That is a bit difficult at first, because you have to find out what works and what doesn't... Takes a bit of time... I sure hope it will make a real difference over time too!!!!! Talk to you later!!!! hugs, Aase Marit > >> Sorry, I just got excited and had to share when this was >mentioned... >> It is just so fun to hear that what you have been sure has been the >> case, has been proven scientifically!!! Cool!!!! > >That's GREAT, Aase! I keep telling my husband that most of YOU know >a lot more than most of my DOCTORS! And it's true! > >So, Aase, how is the neck doing??? Are you still behaving yourself? >Mine is doing OK. I do have to admit the PT has helped, as long as >they don't overdo it and try to do too much weight stuff too soon. > >I do hope you're feeling better and taking good care of yourself! >Thinking of you! > >Love Lana > > > >To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca >
