Hi

It really gives one a scare doesn't it! I suspect the chances are

that you are OK.

A few weeks after my first resurfacing I fell out of bed, when I

misjudged the edge of the bed (trying, believe it or not, to flick

over to get a huge spider off my leg!!). I crashed on to my butt on

the resurfaced side. A sore few days followed, accompanied by lots of

panic and messages to this board, while I rested a lot....then it

passed.

Rest.

Good luck

Thanks, that helps the panic factor considerably.

Hi,

What a @#$@%............. Interesting isn't it - we avoid the dangerous

things like certain sports and then hurt ourselves cleaning or falling out

of bed trying to toss off spiders.......... On the light side now I know why

I avoid cleaning....... but on the serious.......... do hope you recover

okay........... you are bound to have shaken up a few important

muscles/tendons/ligaments no doubt giving them an extension stretches they

were not looking for....... which would possibly account for the clunk

clunking...........i.e. they are now stretched beyond where they were tight

before............ but there is nothing like a good dose of panic as

well..........

While it is pretty usual to rest a little after a trauma it is also

important to keep the whole area moving to help dissipiate the chemicals etc

that make for the muscles etal being sore..........but be gentle and kind

..........

Hope to hear all has returned to normal.......
