Guest guest
So anyway, just in case I do need another cast, I'm trying to decide which Muppet/sesame street character to go for next! I personally liked the Grouch! :-) It was such a lovely, touching letter from a friend who is becoming more like a big brother to me and whose kindness just has me reeling. He threw me completely off base yet again by doing something I am still struggling to get my head around. Would you believe that he has offered me tickets to another tour date or another event they are doing later in the year, so that we can meet up again? just don't know what to say - I'm stunned. I know this sounds crazy but I just don' know what to say, as I would hate to turn down such a wonderful offer from a special friend but it just feels like far too generous a thing for him to do for me. You probably think I'm completely stupid for having doubts about accepting Geoff's gift....but I hope that you will understand where I am coming from. simply don't feel as if I deserve any of this incredible kindness they are all giving, even in response to my thanks for what they have already done for me this year! Oh my, what an incredible friendship I have discovered. Hey Jo, I'm sure he wouldn't have invited you if he didn't WANT you there! I would be more worried that he'd be hurt if you DIDN'T go! Are you really sure that this is a brotherly type of friendship?? Could he feel more for you than that?? Well that's pretty much all my news for now, I promise I will keep you posted on how things are going and I look forward to catching up with all too. Take care and know I'm thinking of you. Thinking of you as well, Jo! Hope the appointment goes good! Love Lana 0:-) To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca

Guest guest
Oh hang in there Jo, I know this all must be trying your patience! About Geoff though, it's clear he enjoys making you happy, so enjoy in return! Jill
Guest guest
Thank you Jill and Lana for your thoughts and wishes, I really don't know what I would do without the support of my family. I am doing okay and thankfully although my body is struggling, my soul seems to be handling things a lot better than it was thankfully. I have a lot of very special people to thank for that gift - including you. Hee-hee, thanks for the suggestion of the Grouch for my next plaster cast Lana - I promise I'll let you know which character I end up carting around with me if necessary. Thank you also for your thoughts on my growing friendship with Amici and in particular Geoff. I am coming to realise that I have a truly amazing friend here, who as you say Jill for some reason seems to enjoy making me happy and helping me through the tough times. I have to admit it feels so good to have that protective and caring feeling a big brother would provide after being an only child! By the way Lana, I can assure you our friendship is entirely plutonic and " sibling like " as his wife Simone is just as special a friend to me as well. They are both wonderful people who have done more for me than I can ever explain or repay - suffice to say I'm just a very lucky person. Thanks again and I will let you know how my rehab and wrist issues go. Thinking of you always. Love and hugs....Jo xxx
