American College of Surgeons Releases Reports on Texas Trauma System

The American College of Surgeons has released their reports and

recommendations on improvements to the Texas Trauma System as well as

the need for additional Level I and II trauma facilities, with

considerable focus given to the Houston-Galveston area. To review the

TETAF appreciates the ACS acknowledging TETAF and the highly motivated

and dedicated individuals who wish to provide the best trauma care to

the citizens of Texas who participate not only in TETAF but the Regional

Advisory Councils and the Texas Governor's EMS, Trauma & Advisory

Council. TETAF will be digesting the recommendations and will share

with interested parties ways TETAF will assist to implement the

recommendations to improve the Texas Trauma System provided by the

American College of Surgeons.
