To the OCD Parenting List:

I must say that I am shocked if this is the way the Oprah Show is

proceeding on this show concerning children in " rages " . It seems they want

amatuers to make tapes and send them off without any input or say in how they

will be used? When CBS came here, they spent time getting acquainted with

- the producer came twice before the cameras came. And they were very

careful to ask him what he was comfortable with. The friends of they

talked with had all been contacted beforehand by . And if

objected to anything, they dropped it right away. Maybe that attitude toward

the subjects of the show is what made it so much more evenhanded that the

average show talking about OCD. I wouldn't be at all tempted to send them a

tape of my child under the conditions outlined in their instructions!

Has anyone any knowledge about Cansema? It is both a cream for skin

cancer and also has an herb form for cancers other than skin. The

cream really gets skin cancers out, but very painfully. Also, does

anyone have any firsthand knowledge about the electroporation effect of

the Beck blood electrification device manufactured by Sota? Does it

have to be used as they say? I have heard others say that they do not

avoid garlic, herbs, or anything else and use it freely and have no bad

effects--only good ones. Does anyone here know? Re the Cansema--my

husband used it on two spots on his head and both reacted the way they

should for cancer. Then we ordered the pills. When he took the first

one his right arm immediately began hurting really badly (just like the

spots on the head did after a few hours) and hurt excruciatingly for

about 3 days and nights. Of course we suspect the cancer has spread,

but so far he refuses to get the blood work done. So I have gotten

Sota's machine. But I am not sure he will use it if electroporation is

an issue. Anyone know for sure?? We also got their magnetic pulser and

it really seems to help. Without blood work, we won't know much though.

Thank you in advance for any info you give.

Dear ,

Very sorry to hear about your dad. Some inexpensive things that you may

want to try are coffee enemas for his liver, and for the lung cancer you may

want to read a testimonial on a lady that had lung cancer and used an

essential oil called Raven to eliminate this. It is sold by " young living

oils " and I can send you Ruth's (I think thats her name) address and a copy

of her testimonial (I saved it). I would also try the Budwig diet and some

Essiac (twice a day).

Getting back to the coffee enemas, someone had posted a very good site

and the coffee is organic. Its at

http://www.blackstockorganics.com/coffee_enema.htm . Good luck

Hello everyone:

My name is Kemp and my father was just recently diagnosed with

lung and liver cancer. The doctors are telling him that there is nothing

they can do for him. He started chemo yesterday and goes for chemo the rest

of the week. Then he is off for three weeks. Then he starts the second

round of chemo. If the second round of chemo does not work, they are going

to discontinue. They are telling him that with or without chemo he is going

to die.

I do believe in alternative methods, such as vitamin supplements, etc., as I

am a mother of four children and my youngest has down syndrome. I use

vitamin supplements that are formulated for children and adults with down

syndrome and have seen incredible results.

Please, please, please help me to help my dad. I do not want to lose him.

I need all the information I can get about your method of treatment.

Thank you

Hi all,

I have a ? for you. I did tape #2 today and it seemed short.Has anyone

actually counted the amount of pahs. didn't seem like 40. Maybe I should use

it more often..it must go faster when following a tape!!

I have another question for you all. When the life lift reflexology tape

came, it was busted in a few places. I took the pieces out of the inside that

were jiggling around.

I am going to try to use it. Did any of you have the same problem? I am just

afraid it will wreck the vcr but will try. If I call them, I imagine that

they will just send out another...Any of you have experience with returns?

Thanks,

Ellen

PS..

I haven't been as good as I shoudl be but I am going away in 3 weeks so I am

hopig to be good now. I am on ww and haven't been especially good there

either..only lost about 3-4 pounds..better than gaining but..

so I need to be better. I was quite stressed last week. I am making, I hope,

a very big life change..changing careers..if it works out. A synopsis is

this..I might have an opportunity to become a teacher, at the ripe old age of

51!! I will loose the prospects of retirement where I am..been there for 8

years ..however, this will more than likely be the last chance for me to do

this..

wish me luck!! I haven't gotten the offer yet but am hoping to this week.

Keep you posted.

Ellen,

I think if the tape is busted, you'd do better to return it and get

one that won't mess up your VCR. I congratulate you on your change of

career and I pray things go well for you. You are very brave. There

is always a reason we are drawn to do new things and seek out new

avenues. I am glad at the ripe old age of 51 you are brave enough to

step out and try. I commend you. Who knows, maybe you'll gain a

better retirement where you are heading. God has his reasons and you

have a great purpose. God Bless and best of intentions to you.

Warmly, Tig :)

In response to Bobbi´s inquiry about availability of ATM machines- here in

Yucatan, there are barely banks outside the capital, Merida, and two or three

other cities (Tizimin, Valladolid) or large towns (Motul). There are certainly

not ATM´s, and not likely to be, because everyone assumes that anything valuable

will be stolen, even though in actuality there is not much crime here. But, at

least in the former henequen growing zone, everyone uses the very responsive

public transportation to go to Merida for just about anything they need,

including farm supplies...don´t forget either that a five dollar minimum charge

can be expected from an American bank when making a foreign withdrawal (as well

I know....). This is, however, much cheaper than using a Mexican bank, most of

which charge 10% of the amount withdrawn for each ATM transaction.

Hi, what exciting projects are you and your husband working on now?

I would still like to connect up with you if we get the opportunity to come

to the Yucatan. (I did the farm safety/health theater NIOSH project). The

next couple of years my job is to work with the growers to sustain the

plays. We will be writing a new grant and hopefully partnering with the

Yakima Diocese housing folks. Give me an update of your work. Thanks, I

look forward to hearing from you.

Subject: Re: Can You Drink Too Much?

Hi ,

I bring a quart of KT with me to work also and drink the majority of

it while reading these posts. I seem to get really thirsty for it

when I read about it:o) I also have a bottle in my car for my trip

to and fro. The only problem is, the one in the car is plastic and

doesn't taste as good as the glass bottle I bring to work. I know

plastic is not good to use for the KT but most glass bottles won't

fit in my cup holder. I do have some that will but I need 2 hands to

open the cork, which is difficult when driving!

When I open my refrigerator I don't have any decisions to make

because my bottom shelf is full of KT and nothing else in there to

drink:o) My friends think I'm a little strange because I live alone

and have 5 gallons of KT in my frig at all times!

I think the plain KT tastes very much like a flat champagne,

depending on how much green tea is used, if the balance is 3 green,

2 black, it tastes more like apple cider. I've become totally

addicted to the tea and have derived many benefits from it. I've

never really been a pop drinker, it's always been too sweet for me.

At one time I used to drink cranberry juice but got away from that a

few years ago and just started drinking more water and coffee!

I haven't been concerned at all about tooth enamel because when I

got my culture, Tina informed me that the tea was good for your

teeth, which was another plus. I find that I don't have near as much

tartar on my teeth since I've been drinking the tea. I brush with

baking soda and peroxide and have for many years. Toothpaste is as

dangerous as drinking tap water with fluoride and chlorine.

Congratulations on learning Hebrew, I know it must be difficult.

Dear Joan,

I haven't been following the list that much lately so have missed it if

you've been posting about your condition. But unless you're in accelerated

phase, I wouldn't be concerning about rapidly rising counts simply because

of missing Gleevec for a few days. I know that and a few others'

counts have risen a lot after being off it for several months, but the

kinetics of chronic phase CML simply do not predict relapse in anything like

a few days time. For one reason or another many patients have been off the

drug for weeks or even months at a time without ill effects. As you may

have read from previous posts, I take myself off IM (Gleevec) for one month

out of every three. I have done this for the past four years, during which

time I have gone from very low PCR's to undetectable. I'm not recommending

this, but I did it with considerable confidence based on what is known about

the rate of growth of CML cells in most (not all) patients.

Yours,

R
