Spoke to Mike (Dad) today about your neck problem. He didn't have any

specific articles on Chiropractic and hypermobility, only the words of his

instructors and his personal opinion. He did make the following

recommendations to help ease the pain.

I hope I am doing justice to his recommendations. The cell phone connection

was terrible and I had to have him repeat things several times to get it all

down.

First, he suggested trying the Polarity X-Technique at the transverse

processes starting at C7 to C1 and at the OA Junction. Essentially, you

should work above and below the pain area as well as where it actually

hurts.

Next, refer to Gach to open up the Gallbladder 20s acupressure points.

Finally, finish up with the Jin Shin Do neck and shoulder release.

If you need more explanation on how to do the techniques, he said to refer

to the archives on CEDA for the X-technique and the neck and shoulder

release. He also suggested checking with Mark in case he had sent the neck

and shoulder release info off-list.

If you have questions, email him off list. Mom said they are going to try

to get a dial-up connection and download mail in a day or two when they get

to her sister's house in California.

Again, I apologize for the lack of detailed explanations. Between the bad

cell phone and my complete dependence on HIM to do all my treatment (and

therefore not learn any of it myself), this is the best I can do.

(Now it's back to writing that term paper that's due Tuesday)
