The Board of Live Oak County Emergency Services District 1 announces the

issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of emergency

(9-1-1) and non-emergency ambulance services within the boundaries of Live

Oak County, Texas pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code, Title 8,

Chapter 262, §262.025.

When making your request, please include your name, your position, the name

of your organization, its location, contact phone number and email address.

Sealed bids will be received until 3 PM on January 10, 2012. Proposals will

not be publicly read at the deadline. The contract award will be announced

on January 17, 2012.

Payments to the successful bidder will be made in pre-paid monthly

installments beginning February 24, 2012, and for every month thereafter

for a period of three (3) years. There is no bond required of prospective

bidders.
