Guest guest
So, leaving a postcard in the box and waiting for a random tourist to take it home is actually faster than the real post office. That is just too funny! Debbi Postcard Program For those of you in the postcard program... I mailed your postcards on June 9 from Puerta Ayora, Ecuador. I sent one home to my husband and it still hasn't arrived. Please let me know when you guys receive your postcards. While we were in Galapagos, there is a place called Post Office Bay. It's the oldest " post office " in the Pacific. Basically, you leave a postcard there and wait for someone else who visits the island to deliver it. You also get to look through all the other postcards there and then pick up any cards that are for people who live near you and you deliver the cards to them when you get home. We didn't find any for anyone in Seattle. Mom put a postcard to herself in the box at Post Office Bay. It arrived here yesterday. So, leaving a postcard in the box and waiting for a random tourist to take it home is actually faster than the real post office. -Barb To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca
Guest guest
Hi I have received quite a few postcards and want to thank everybody. I am sorry I have not sent mine out yet. I have been out of the hospital for 2 weeks yesterday after a 5 day stay, but was never really better. I went to emerg twice last week to have my hip reduced. The first time it was not wrapped properly and pulled out that night. Normally I would be admitted to the hospital but there are no beds in my small local hospital. I went back the next day and the one dr who can reduce it without drugs was on. It takes a long time this way and hurts like a hang but it's better then getting alll drugged up. I was not well for at least 2 weeks before i went into the hospital. My last month has been a total write-off and what I have shared here is not even the icing on the cake of what's been going on. I really just want the people on the postcard program to know that I have received postcards, thank you very much. I have written some but have others to write and all to send. I am not trying to make any excuses, I just want you to know I will get back to you and I appreciate the cards thee are some very inventive ideas.
