Guest guest
Mike and Darlene stopped by my home in lower Michigan from July 26-28 hoping to get their RV fixed. Unfortunately for them the logistics didn't work out for that. But, hopefully they were able to relax a bit at my home. Mike was able to catch a really nice bass and I think he enjoyed that. Darlene was able to visit a new quilt shop that opened up in my town. I have HEDS and Mike worked on me several times. I have waited a week to post my message as I wanted to see if the results lasted more than just a short time - they did! I have chronic problems with my right ankle - the whole foot rolls to the inside with the botton of my right foot facing the inside of my left leg. I fall frequently as when I put my foot down to take a step, I have to consciously think about putting my foot down in the " correct " position. If I don't do that, i wind up placing my weight on the outside of the right foot - and down I go. Also, I have what I call the EDS waddle walk. I have walked like that for over 5 years. it seems like my hips have no control over what the legs do. My legs just flair out with no control. And my spine has been crooked for years and I stand bent to one side or the other. Also, I am constantly getting " stabbed " by one of my ribs on my left side. With just a couple of sessions, Mike was able to help me tremendously. I stand more erect and my walk is more normal. I feel like the muscles around my back are working more which makes sense as they are keeping me standing more erect. I have only felt the rib once or twice - when normally it would " stab " me 10-12 times a day. He worked on my right ankle via the hip and the knee and it does not turn to the inside as much. I have not fallen since he left - normally I would fall down every 2-3 days. I have been able to cut down my morphine from 3 to 2 a day - which doesn't sound like much, but to me it makes a difference. I am by no means cured, but my pain level has lessened and I have more confidence in moving around. And, remember, this is with only 2 sessions. Several people have noticed the difference and even my sister commented on my " better " posture. I also noticed the difference when I swim - that is what I do for aerobic exercise. I used to swim 1/2 way across the lake and back and would have to stop several times as my toes on the right foot would dislocate. I have been swimming everyday since they left - and my toes have been fine. I am not trained in any form of massage therapy, and I certainly do not understand how Mike's method works - but all I care about is the fact that it does work. If you have the opportunity, please let Mike try his " stuff " on you. I would love to see Mike be recognized for his skills and training. If he can write a book or teach his method to others, I think it would be very worthwhile for thousands of us around the world.
