Update on my week

Okay, so Monday, I totally overslept and couldn't make my MRI.  So I had to reschedule til tomorrow - couldn't reschedule for Tuesday because our couch was being delivered.  Since I need the MRI before I see my doc, doctor's appointment had to be rescheduled until the 25th.  So my MRI is in St. Louis tomorrow at 5 pm - ugh.  I have an EEG Friday morning.  We got our couch delivered yesterday, and we just went out, and picked out our new loveseat and the boys' dressers, and those are getting delivered Friday.  Monday, I had a counseling appointment that I totally forgot about until I got the reminder call.  We went looking for the dressers Monday, too, which was....well, in the heat it left me rather weak after I got cleaned up, saw my therapist, and then hubby and I went out to dinner (anniversary dinner 2 months late). 

The dog is sort of throwing a temper fit about the new couch.  He looks at it, he sniffs it, but he won't lay on it for more than 2 minutes.  I guess since it hasn't been broken in, and it isn't " his " couch.  So he's going to be even more frustrated when his new bed gets here tomorrow, and the new loveseat gets here Friday.

The absolute best part of my week so far is Monday I stepped on the scale (or was it Sunday?) and I had lost 4 pounds!  No, I'm not trying to lose weight, but I should, and the spontaneous shedding of 4 pounds made my day!  I literally have not been this low for about 3 + years.  I gained 2 of it back when we went out to dinner, but that's because I ate more at dinner than I have been eating during a whole day lately (had to have the chocolate cake, can't go out and not get dessert).  I guess the weight loss happened because I've not been eating as much lately - another effect the heat has on me.  But heck, I looked in the mirror and could tell a difference, so that thrills me.

Also finally got on my recumbent bike.  My legs are just barely long enough for it at it's shortest setting, lol.  But I managed to do a couple of miles before I sweated myself to death.  Had to get a new fan to sit upstairs by the bike, as the second floor has practically no air movement out in the hallway.

Oh no, Tina! I'm sorry you messed up your schedule for this week.
