Guest guest
Hi all. It's been a long week end. My 19 year old, Brady, has had a migraine for 10 days now. His first I guess. He's always had bad headaches but in the past we thought they were all sinus HA. Friday night he asked to go to the ER. (A kid that refuses to go to the DRs.) Right away the Drs said we were looking at Meningitis, or aneurism. So the tests began. When all tests came back negative, they figured a migraine. We went home with Vicodine. The HA continued to worsen, and last night he came to me at 9:30, handed me the keys and said let's go. Off to the ER again. No more awful tests thank goodness. I thought maybe he was having that Spinal HA from the spinal tap 2 days before. But the Dr didn't think so. The pain was so bad, he was blacking out. After trying many meds last night, they wanted to admit him, but he just wanted more Diluadid and to go home. Everytime he started to fall asleep and they woke him up, the HA got out of control again. If we go again, I think we'll just admit him so the diluadid can stay in him till he sees a neurologist. I'm so hoping this isn't the start of EDS raising it's ugly head again. Dylan started the same way. Brady's ankles have been hurting him for no reason. I don't like the picture that is being painted here. Cindylouwho
