Guest guest
Well, I tried the new migraine medication that my neuro sent home with me. I was skeptical, because it was Imitrex, which is known to cause seizures, and which didn't work for me before, and and naprosyn. Had a migraine yesterday, so I took it. I had to call the doctor's office because within about 10 minutes of taking it (very fast acting), I felt like I was going to have a seizure. That feeling lasted for about 7 hours. And the worst part is, it didn't even work. There was some relief, but I think that was provided by the naprosyn in it. So his advice, since I don't get them that often, is to take the Fioricet and either naprosyn or ibuprofen, despite my pcp's objections to nsaid's. So that's that. I guess when I see my pcp again, I'll ask her for a cox II inhibitor or something, so I'm not getting as much irritation. I've been sneaking ibuprofen anyway, and feel guilty about it. Guest guest
My daughter-in-law suffers from migraines. One time she went to her docs office and her gave her a shot of Imitrex. Her blood pressure dropped so fast she fell to the floor. Needless to say, she has never tried that drug again! lolhugsSharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
