Guest guest
Okay, before we proceed any further, let me clarify some things. First, I have had numerous discussions over recent years about the difference in medics being turned-out over the last decade as opposed to those let's say ten or more years ago. I am not posting my opinions at this time because I choose to remain neutral for now. Second, I am an EMS educator and patient advocate, thus is not necessary to express shock at the topic I have presented. Third, the point is to present some differences in " Old Medics " vs. New Medics, " not create on-going controversy, however, it may be inevitable. An example: reliance on technology. In conclusion, it is my hope that this forum may serve as a medium to present logical and rational remarks. It is not my objective to create a controversy such as medics vs. nurses (let's not go there), it is simply to present some observations. I can present at least five points of difference, good or bad! We are a team working to provide the best care possible to the public.
