Guest guest
I mentioned I was referred to a physical therapist by my orthopedic surgeon. The only difference between now and four years ago that I can see is that I'm now on Medicare, and partially covered -- I wasn't then, when he thought PT wouldn't help. He did spend longer with me this time, and I'm coping better in general. Anyway...I've tried it before. And I've also mentioned that I've been turned down by 2 dentists and an oral surgeon...and that there aren't any doctors in the county hospital system willing to supervise EDS treatment.... In that context, I'm posting the letter I sent the physical therapist, the list of lessons I've learned from my previous PT attempts, and a description of how my body works. It may be incredibly egotistical of me, but I spent a long time wording these properly, and I thought they might say things some of you'd at least understand. Equivocal enough?
