Sharon, excellent idea. I'm getting the pieces of info I need, but still have to

put them all together. That is the best place. I know what I can and can not

remove on the chair, how big the cargo door is on this plane ( 31 " tall) maybe

I should say how small. I need to know this chair will be handled with care. I

want to know what causes the most damage to these chairs while traveling, and

many more questions. Putting everyone suggestions together and taking all to the

airport is probably my best bet to get this worked out. I'm guessing the medical

support office is the place to go. He has no idea what a head ache this has

been. I just want him to know how freedom will feel like for now. Thanks Sharon.

Cindy,

you may infact get better help and information by going to the

airport in person and refusing to leave until you get all of the help

and information you need in advance of your trip. You need to explain

to these people that this is a newly disabled person/ young adult and

this trip could make or break how he feels about himself and his

disability and it needs to run smoothly to show him that he has his

independance back. ....................

Good Luck

Sharon
