How do I know all this?

Because years ago, I was in a hacking group with members from all over the

globe. We hacked into sites for fun, not for monetary gain or to do damage, but

just because we could copy material from the site, and upload it to a foreign

storage sites (ones that you had to know how to use, because they were in a

foreign language) and share the access URL with each other. Back then, it was a

harmless game, with no laws against it.... today it is a Felony.

Please be advised that I do not do this anymore. I just have knowledge of how it

works. I used to use Raw Hide, and Golden Eye. I know how hackers work. I used

to be one.

Times have changed, new Laws in effect, and most hackers are out to make money

by theft. In my day, it was just fun....not anymore.

To those of you who received an email from me begging for a wire

transfer to London to settle up a hotel bill, obviously my AOL address

book was compromised, although the message was sent from a Yahoo account.

Hopefully no one wired this bozo any money, knowing that if someone had

mugged me at gunpoint in London, I'd be asking for a) bail money because

I shot him with his own gun, or pleas for help with hospital bills

and O- blood because he got me first.

Virus scans done, passwords changed, etc. We now return you to your

regularly scheduled bickering.
