Guest guest
After lots of aggravation I finally have a date for resurf on 2nd June. This is after being put to the top of list by consultant!!!!! Tha admissions woman has fobbed me off continually. I am now assured of this date by intervention of consultant- this being the earliest free date. My question to all you experienced hippies is - Will I be ok to go on holiday on 7th August? I know I asked this a few eeks ago but this was when my op was due in May. A big thank you!!!!!! Cheryl x
Guest guest
Hi Cheryl. I think the answer depends on how well you heal and what 'type' of vacation you're planning on taking. If you want to tackle rock climbing or toddling all over Europe at 8-9 weeks post-op, I'd say WHOA. On the other hand, if you're doing something relaxing and low key like a trip to the beach or a cabin in the mountains, I'd say why not? My Doc had me on 1 crutch until 12 weeks out.....as many docs do....but it depends on what YOUR Doc says and how you feel. Best of luck. Lois C+ 3/27/03 Dr. Mont holiday help (again!)
