Guest guest
I'm not a doctor...just to start with that! You probably already know this, but fevers are not always a sign of something bad. Many if not all times it's a sign that our body is fighting something. Since I am pre-op, I cannot share...but perhaps others will kick in! ) Best to you, Ramana, In surfacehippy , " gvramana39 " wrote: > Hi, > > I am 2 months post-op (LBHR) and recovery is quite good. Guest guest
Hi Ramana, I'm not a doctor but I am in nursing school so I am aware of a few things that could be causing your fevers. The most likely thing it could be is that your body may still be in shock after having a major surgery. If it normally takes you a while to get over a virus or infection or just completely heal in general then this could explain your fevers. Another and very unlikely answer could be that your body may actually be that while in surgery or recovery afterwards you contracted an infection which did not show up on an x- ray because it is simply inflamed tissue and will not interact badly with your surgical area. I would recommend that you talk to your doctor about starting on a low dose of antibiotics to see if that helps at all. I just want to reinforce that I am not a doctor and also that although I am almost finished with nursing school I am not yet a full nurse. I hope some of this helps you. Good luck, a THR Amstutz June 9,2000 > Hi, > > I am 2 months post-op (LBHR) and recovery is quite good. Incision > sealed beautifully and totally pain free except for the muscle > soreness.. Guest guest
Hi a, Thanks for your note. I will see the doctor again and seek his opinion also. I met him one week back and he advised me to watch the situation for some more time. Regards, Ramana > > Hi, > > > > I am 2 months post-op (LBHR) and recovery is quite good. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the note. My doctor seems to be thinking that my fevers were not due to something serious. He feels that it is due to recovery process. He asked me to watch the situation for some more time. I hope that it will down soon. Are you considering the resurfacing ? Resurfacing went well for me. Good luck to you, Ramana > > Hi, > > > > I am 2 months post-op (LBHR) and recovery is quite good. Incision > > sealed beautifully and totally pain free except for the muscle > > soreness..
