Hello!

I just became AHA certified to teach CPR and first aid. I am looking for quality

manikins. Do yall have any suggestions? I'm really liking the Prestan

manikins....

Thanks!

Audra,

We really like Prestans as well, so much that we sell them. You can

check us out at our website (and ignore the website, website developers

we're not!) www.trainingcentersupply.com.

Hi,

I use the Prestan Mannikins for one group I teach for and while students do

like the lights for feedback and the realistic chest rise, they are quite

difficult to do compressions on and quite tiring. Their low cost is a

significant advantage, but a Little Anne mannikin is relatively competitive

in price also.

Therefore if your students are likely to be members of the community /

lay-rescuers who may not have great fitness the difficulty with doing good

compressions on them may cause them to focus on their failure to compress -

rather than on the actual routine of compressions and breaths and getting

the right rate and depth.

If your students are EMS or Fire then perhaps they may be a bit fitter and

able to manage it.
