Guest guest
The reason I cannot donate organs--and now blood--though I have in the past-- is thatnow I grow a bacteria called Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, or MRSA.Otherwise, I could still donate blood--which I have only rarely done.Cystic Fibrosis can--if it affects the lungs severely enough--also affect the heart, butusually affects the lungs, sinuses, pancreas and liver and digestion. I am only alive be-cause I have minor mutations of Cystic Fibrosis. I was always told that MS would notkeep me from donating blood--unless I was on cortico-steroid treatment.Best I can do on a fast run,n Yes. I can donate blood, and am listed as an organ donor on my driver's license--Due to my having cystic fibrosis, however, they will only use my corneas!
