How about taking away basic ability to provide best available care to Pts, on

average our FRO arrive 8-10 mins before the first ambulance unit. In a stroke

stemi or allergic reaction that makes a huge difference in time sensitive PTS

care. We carry the same equipment, diagnostic skills and same level of training,

I'm forced to sit on my hands. To the patients detriment. They should do less

swimming more driving.

My personal opinion not that of any department union or ESD

Romy son

(sarcasm of course). I can remember calls on the lake where they would have

rescuers in the water and a helicopter in the air before we ever got there and

were supposed to be their safety crew, a little too excited if you ask me!!
