Guest guest
Hi, I saw a pain management doctor. I had never seen one before, so it was interesting. he knew a little about EDS but not much and he was just approaching the situation as though i were in pain and did not really care why or what was causing the pain. he thinks that we should increase my meds so that i can do more things during the day, such as yoga and learning deep breathing and other techniques to help me learn to manage the pain so that someday i could decrease the dosage of the narcodics that i am on. this all sounds good in theory and such but i am not sure. i am going to talk with my primary doctor on monday. but i was wondering what you all think about his theory. is it even possible to manage the pain well enough that you could decrease the meds? Any opinions would be appreciated. Hugs to all, jen EDS III Phoenix, AZ
