Guest guest
Dear Lari, Well—that is interesting. Thank you for asking. Just after my op, my knee was ‘pigeoned toed’ as well, i.e. was markedly rotated to the left. Exercise (tensing the knee cap and thigh) and time has almost straightened it out, but it still turns slightly to the left. I do get ankle pain as well on and off now, but never did in the past. (Oh my, how I do like wallowing in discussing the minutae of my aches and pains!) Eleanor to Eleanor Re: Rotated femur anyone? Hi, Eleanor, I asked Helen, my pt, about the pigeon-toe issue and she said that this comes more from the ankle, and less from the hip joint. Something to consider. Chat with you soon.
