Guest guest
I just received a flyer about the Abilities Expo for Southern CA and thought some of you might be interested. It will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center June 11-13 (Friday-Sunday). The description of the expo is " Abilities Expo is the one show where you can gather informaion you need to expand and enhance your capabilities, see demonstrations of the market's new and existing products, and most importantly improve the quality of your life. Abilities Expo is not just a show for persons with a disability - if you are a family member, senior, caregiver, education or healthcare professional you will find helpful products and infomation. From hands-on exhibits to free educational workshops, Abilities Expo is a golden opportunity to discover the newest advances in independent and assisted living products and services. Come explore and compare the latest products and services designed to improve the quality of live. Also, participate in our free workshops covering topics on everything from relationships to travel and medical issues to assistive technology. " There will be many exibitors (including one who is offering free wheelchair repair) and a long list of workshops. It costs $5 to get in, but my brochure came with a free admission coupon (which I can bring copies of to the So-CA party on the 23rd, if anyone is interested). More info can be found at www.abilitiesexpo.com or by calling .
