Guest guest
Dear Jo, I'm going riding next week and it will be a trail ride at a local ranch with my family in honor of my best friend who died this past Christmas from Pancreatic Cancer. She was a very good horseman and we had planned on going riding this spring as soon as it dried out enough to ride. With the rainy spring and early summer I'm hoping that the trails will be dry enough to use. I love to ride horses and would love to have my own horses. I really enjoy the few times I do get to go riding and really enjoyed your story very much. I rode every chance I got when I was younger and was a regular at the stables near our families home. Too bad they will have to end the ride by trying to peel me off of the horse as best they can. The last time it took almost 15 minutes for my legs to get over the horse to dismount. Too painful to move but I did enjoy every minute on the trail. My son is coming along this time. It will be his first time going on a real trail ride instead of a pony led ride. He is 6 foot 6 inches high so I " m hoping they have a horse big enough for him. As I was reading your story I was remembering some of the memorable horses that I " ve ridden. Ride a few for me please. Thanks for the wonderful story. Well done. e
