Dear Sherri:

Ultram was one of the first Rxs my doctor prescribed for me.

Unfortunately, for me it didn't do a blooming thing; however, I know

a few people it has helped.

Let us know how it goes for you.

Wishing you well,

Pam

I have fantastic relief with ultram. I really think it works sortof

like an antianxiety med as well as painkiller. I start out with a

half then move up but most of the time, 1/2 tab is enough for me as

I'm kindof sensitive to meds anyway. My doc told me last time I

refilled that they are now becoming concerned that it is actually

addictive, where at first they thought it wasn't. Everyone has

different reactions to meds, so really you just gotta try and see.

Hi Sherri..sorry to hear you had a bad time. I can relate....

vaccuming kills me..as well as many other things lol. My first Dr.

had me on 50 mg of Ultram every six hours. It " took the edge off " ,

but that's it. My new Dr. upped the Ultram to 100mg every six hours

and told me if it is taken regularly...every six hours it helps

more. Kind of builds up in your system and provides a constant dose.

On really bad days you can also take two arthritis strenght Tylenol.

The arthritis strength is time released...and works with and boosts

the effectiveness of the Ultram. So far so good for me...been two

months. Of course, I still have my percocet for the really bad days.

hope this helps...good luck

I think I will suggest this one to my Dr. I got up today worse that I was

yesterday. I didn't get any sleep at all last night. Finally came out and

laid on the couch. I broke down and took 2 darvacet. It has helped a

little but not much. At least I can walk to the bathroom :)

Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend/painfree!!

I have tried Ultram and I think it's great! It works

well for moderate pain and it doesn't have the side

effects that the other pain meds have.

Thanks Lynne, I liked the idea of it because it isn't a narcotic.

P.S. She is thinking of using medicated dog shampoo, do you think it would be

safe for her with those sores and if it would even work? shirley

Question

I have a friend who has had head lice all summer. She has used treatment and

other things to get rid of them. She has sores on her head from all the crap she

has been using. She has even washed all her stuff and everything. The question

is can they be inside the sores and breeding that way? They are not deep sore

though. Need suggestions and home remedies if anybody knows of any as the

treatment burns her sores and can't use it. She is really freaked out they are

in the sores-help!! Thanks!! Shirley

My daughter had head lice. I thought I would never get rid of them. I used

the shampoos and scrubbed her bedroom over and over.

I finally went on the internet and searched. Tried a herbal shampoo. Didn't

work either. Found one that was totally nontoxic. I worked by breaking the

bond the lice had on the hair. And I could dilute it and spray it all over

the bedroom then vacuum. I don't remember the name of it. I would have to

search the internet again. It was more expensive than the insecticide kinds.

I would put mayonnaise on the head and leave it for a couple hours. I

understand that smothers the lice. Should be good for the hair and not hurt

the sores.

Peace be yours,

barb
