Judy, can you explain your statment below for me?? I think the pain

I have in my shoulder IS related to cervical spinal stenosis. Are

you just saying that the pain you have is different? How did they

determine whether or not it is or is not related to the stenosis????

I\'ve been wondering that.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

In the past, my shoulder pain was directly related to cervical spinal

stenosis, but I just had MRI, Myleogram and CT scans of my entire spine.

The MRI\'s were useless because I have so much hardware in my neck since

I\'m fused from C3-T1 with plates, rods and screws.

The myleogram and CT scans were a little better but didn\'t show any

specific nerve impingement although there is still lots of arthritis in my

neck causing pain. It still might relate to the neck, it might just be

arthritis in the shoulder itself or a torn rotator cuff or TOS. That is

what I will be asking the shoulder specialist to check for me.

Delighted that you will be going to NIH. I was there many years ago when it

ws in Bethesda.

BTW. When I was an inpatient at NIH Clinical ctr, I asked if I could make a

donation. They ssaid they were not set up for that, so I brought a basket

of goodies from GA with me and just put it on the nursing station desk. (I

don\'t know what the setup is like in Baltimore or if that would work).

I didn\'t ask-just did it. I figured if the staff didn\'t want it, they

could give it to patients. Somehow all the goodies managed to disappear.

HArbor Hospital may take donations. If it was given in honor of the team, I

think they would appreciate it and wouldn\'t have to turn it down.

OR better yet, make a donation to EDNF in their honor! They will get an

acknowledgement card .
