Guest guest Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 I would agree there, but also, the patient MUST be closely observed because the very presence of the large bladder both increases the chances of inducing a gag reflex AND reduces the chances that a small to moderate bolus of vomitus will be observed....potentially leading to a significant aspiration.
