Guest guest
Maybe I have an over inflated sense of self importance. But hearing all the " near miss " stories with THR's I want to share this. I was waiting for a table at a local Thai food restaurant with my lovely wife and some friends. I had to sit on the stairs like Tiny Tim because my hip was hurting so bad...feeling like it was a joint full of broken glass. Anyone relate? Anyhoo, I was wiggling my leg and grimacing and grumbling about my hip when an eavesdropper bent down and inquired about my discomfort. I told him about my evil hip, and he proceeded to tell me about his resurfacing (DR. SeSmet) two years prior, and he told me tha the was in town for the half marathon. He gave me his card and the rest is history. Otherwise, my friends, it may all be different today. That was January 04, and no surgeon had even hinted at resurfacing to me. Someone once told me that a coincidence is God remaining Anonymous. C+
