Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have had a BHR surgery on my left hip last week by dr. K. de Smet. (2nd of June). I guess I had a too positive expectation of the recovery phase while I do think it is hard to build up your strength again. However physically the operation seems to be a succes. I have had some digital contact with the ANCA clinic. They think my (in dutch: Hematocriet) is to low. This means my iron level is to low...not enough red bloodcell's. Does anyone have experience with that and if Yes, how did you coop with it. How much time did you need to get back at your normal energy level. Also I'm still struggeling with ajusting the recovery schedule. How much activity is good? At this time I'm doing some exercises (about 30 minutes a day) and further walking in a way so I am actually using the hip is a hard job too. Ofcourse this will be better when I will not have to sleep 14 hours of the given 24 hours a day! Hope somebody can give me some advise. With regards, Mijke de Schutter (the Netherlands) _________________________________________________________________ Chatten met je online vrienden via MSN Messenger. http://messenger.msn.nl/
