Guest guest
Hello Group! Finally, I have my project painting finished. I call it Still Standing. My reference photo came from one of my online friends who is an amazing photographer. In the photo, the building was set within a residential area. It had grass and green shrubbery and living trees. In the background there were modern houses with well maintained yards. In the streets were automobiles. Since I wanted to create the sense that this building was abandoned, I took out all of the greenery and substituted dead or toasted trees, like maybe they had caught fire. In the photo, some of the wood was almost white with hardly any visible grain. I'm guessing that the person who built this building used wood scraps from a variety of different construction projects which would explain the uneven aging of the wood. Last month, I finished my project painting early in the month. This time the month is almost offer. It's always nice to share my paintings with you.
