Guest guest
Part of what medications we take depends not only on our livers but on what other meds we take. If we are on diuretics then all NSAIDs are out of the question. I used to sneak some baby aspirin to give a little boost to my pain meds, then I found out that it would negate the effect of diuretics. It's very important to have a good relationship with your pharmacist. I take Norco 325/10 tylenol/codeine. Hope you find something that can help you. I HATE pain. take care, Cheryl Id PDC/UC/RPC/new undx condition w/ kidneys > > What do you guys think about Low dose Aspirin 81mg one pill a day? > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I wrote about my problem with the dentist leaving. I can't go to the dentist who replaced the dentist who left because he is not in the office on Mondays or Fridays--the days I have for sure rides. So today I was looking through the phone book at the listings for dentists. And I found out my old, old dentist (Dr. R) has opened a new practice! He had sold his practice in town years and years ago and was volunteering his services at the county jail. But now he is back! That sounds like it should be an easy decision but here's my current dilemma. Dr. R is the nicest dentist I've ever met, the most compassionate, the kindest dentist ever. The problem is he is not the BEST dentist. In fact his work is well known to be a little substandard. But I know he would not hurt me. With the TN and the MS it is always a problem to see a dentist, you know. What should I do? Go back to the really kind, sweet, compassionate dentist that does slightly substandard work or someone else that may do great work but is not so kind and compassionate? Please give me your opinions! Guest guest
Go to the old guy. Discuss what he's going to do before you let him do it, if it sounds iffy find another solution. I've never had TN, but from what I've heard I'd rather have dentures than great teeth + TN, you know? Of course I'm also the person who refused to go to the dr for 25 years, so what do I know? ;-) T in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Sharon, Depends on what needs to be done....If simple procedures go back to the one you know.....Also might depend on cost. If intricate procedures required maybe more thought and better dentist.....I also detest the dendist. Best wishws, Tom Bayuk need advice I wrote about my problem with the dentist leaving. Guest guest
Thanks Jackie:) Dr. R is so nice and really, truly cares. One time he told me I needed to have my teeth cleaned again and I told him no! I told him the last time his hygienist cleaned my teeth it threw me into an MS flare. He looked so upset and actually got tears in his eyes. He apologized and apologized. That made me feel bad for even mentioning it. lololhugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
