Guest guest
My close friend, who is also my physical therapist caught me walking without a cane or a crutch, and used my wife's tazer on me. So I'm going back to one crutch (even though I don't feel I need it) out of fear of electric shock. He was cursing and yelling about boney ingrowth, and the senselessness of hurrying what I have worked so hard to achieve. So I'm gonna behave til next Wednesday at least, when I return to JRI for x-rays. The ego is back in the freezer.... C+ Amstutz 4-
Guest guest
Hi Good thinking on your part. Don't let the ego get in the way of biology. Your friend the PT is right to tell you to stop screwing around with your body and mother nature. The first 3 months are the most important for your hip and the rest of your life! If you do not take care now you may find yourself on the 'other' hip webpage. :-( Let things heal my friend - you have a lifetime to be active and healthy again. Oh and by the way I am telling you this because I am just like you and I will need to heed my own advice after my surgery. Hopefully you will be around to keep my ego in the right direction. Ha!Ha! Good luck to you and take good care.
