Guest guest
Why is this interesting? Well and Nephew use Oxinium for THR's / Knee replacements and have implied they will push it to resurfacing technology acquired here with purchase of MMT. Oxinium is 4900 times more abrasion resistant than Cobalt chrome and has half the friction coefficent of Cobalt Chrome To date its been used mostly for knees and THR's but if they apply their licence for this material to the resurfacing approach as implied in this press release then that means even better opportunities for those of us who are a few years off replacement like me.
