Guest guest
I was two when I came to Canada. My gran was there and last day in Scotland, I decided that I didn't want to leave and poured boiling water over myself. ( kettle over open fire ... I was quick back then and no one could get to me in time to stop me). Parents had to provide airline tickets for hospital to release me ...came to Canada drugged and wrapped like a mummy. In Toronto, they cut all the badages off. I only have 2 small burn scars. Thank Gooodness my Gran did some first aid to save my face. Been back over 3 times. My dad's family is still there. My mum's is all in Canada. We are unique is that my sister are the only scottish grand kids on my mum's side and my brother was the only Canadian on my dad's.
