Guest guest
Got back home to Seattle a couple of hours ago and just now finished scanning (emphasis on scanning - not reading) two week's worth of posts. Right up front, my thanks also to Debbi for suggesting the SoCal party. She did an outstanding job on putting it all together. I personally enjoyed putting some live faces to names on the list. I also definitely appreciated the opportunity to be able to work with some more people with EDS. Among other things, this was my first chance to work with someone with VEDS as well as someone officially diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. In fact, I got to work with two people with Fibro. As info - no doubt about it at all anymore in my mind. The official diagnositic points for Fibromyalgia are in fact acupuncture points. Most of the points are ones that I personally use in my basic Jin Shin Do release pattern. I found it interesting that the points were all tender (suggesting to me that there was an energetic imbalance involved). It also suggests that a full acupressure release treatment should provide symptomatic relief. There definitely needs to be more work in this area. I will post separately, but the last couple of weeks have also been a good test on using a Visceral Manipulation technique for symptomatic relief of Acid Refulx disease. According to my wife, her symptoms have been reduced by about 90 percent and she is using nothing more than a finger tip and one spot that I showed her. I will put out a more detailed post on this before I leave on the next trip.
