I've heard of Dallas, Oregon. I think perhaps my sister-in-law used to talk about Dallas. She was from the Portland area but lived other places as an adult. It is a fine line we walk. Complain or not complain. It's easy to get stuck in the complaining mode because we have so much to complain about, for real.I hope Tina sees the light or better yet the hubby changes. What are the odds of that?!?hugs SharonThis email is a natural

Thanks for the encouragement. Yes I do have the tendency to retreat at times to try and sort things out, and pray that my mind will be renewed with a better perspective. I think from the years I did do a lot of complaining it turned people off, so I learned to keep some things to myself. As I’ve gotten older I want to more than ever see life in a better way and appreciate more of the good things that I have then to dwell on the negative. I am sure I will get there, as this depression is driving me crazy! That has been the worse part of menopause for me is the emotional stuff. I never know from day to day how I will feel about anything. I am hoping this will be a fleeting thing as my hormones even themselves out. Thank you for the good suggestions, and as far as Tina’s reunion it could have been better if her husband hadn’t been so disagreeable. He made it hard for her to have a good time. She has a rough road ahead of her if she decides to stay with him. He’s a likable guy some of the time, but he has a lot of inner demons that he fights and doesn’t deal with things very well that doesn’t benefit him in a positive way. He didn’t like it up on the island, so his perspective was very negative. They didn’t even stay for the picnic where Tina could have seen the families of her friends and show them doodlebug. We have been watching mostly movies over the summer until the

new TV seasons of our favorite shows come on. Our summer hot weather seems to be just starting for us. High 80’s with high humidity and low pressure. Not a good combo for me, or Steve. At least we have a good AC, but I still am waiting for a weekend to cool enough to go out. There is a small town south of us that we are thinking about retiring to. It has EVERYTHING we need at our fingertips to not have to travel far. It’s a quaint little town called “Dallasâ€, Oregon. J I’ve been biting at the bit to go there to check it out. I’ll let you all know when that happens. That’s it for tonight, love and hugs to you and all, Jackie From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of SharonSent: Saturday, August 27, 2011 1:30 PMTo: MSersLife Subject: Re: Checking in Jackie We want to hear from you no matter what! Complain if you want:) Or talk about TV shows you've watched, what you read in a magazine or what book you are reading. Just don't fade away from us!! It is still hot here but I can tell summer is winding down for us. How is Tina? How was her little reunion trip to Whidbey Island? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. We are suppose to get temps up in the 90’s today, and then by next Wed. its dropping down to 69. I hope this will be the last of the hot hot weather. I’ve been wanting to get out of my house but just can’t take the chance with the heat. Last week was a hard one with me being so bored. I’m getting tired of the same’o same’o all the time. I never know what to write here because there isn’t really anything new to talk about, and I hate to just come on here and complain. I’ve got plenty to say about all the stuff I don’t like. L Yay! for you you’re getting new glasses, and my favorite color purple! Nice to see you posting Debbi! Glad you are getting better Kate, and the hurricane bypassed you and Akiba. Sorry to hear about the dogs getting in your yard again Sharon,

glad your grandson was able to protect everyone. Hope your TN is getting better and your PC lasts long enough so we don’t lose communication from you. Tina, Teri, and the rest of you I’ll have to go back and see what’s going on with you as my memory just flaked on me. Going back to bed for a couple hours, so I’ll check in later to see if there’s anything new. Thanks for the continued prayers, nne. JHugs and love to all, Jackie
