Considering your computer probs, I hope you get this.

Are you talking @ the EDNF, E.R. CD? If you are, I have a few & they are

available from the foundation, when needed. But, I realize you are in a

hurry, so if you want the ER CD from the foundation, I would be happy to send it

to

you. They are given out by the foundation without charge. And in case you

don't know about this, when you give one out, if you can, there is a site on

ednf.org, where you can type in & enter the name of the person that you gave it

to. It helps the EDNF track them & many people go to the site to see the

names of people who have already received one. And hopefully, the person it was

given to, truly watched it & knows more about EDS then the average person!

We also do make a request for people to make a donation to the EDNF for the

CD, when we give it to them (free of charge) but it's not required. It's nice

to get a donation sent to the EDNF though, they can make more CD's, put it

towards making the new CD, etc. But as always, the most important thing is to

get information about EDS into the hands of as many people as possible,

especially medical personnel.

And, you surely don't have to send the CD back to me & if you want more then

one, I have a few & would be happy to send them to you, if you have people

that want them.

I hope your treatment helps & I'm REALLY glad that you've been in contact

with Mike & that he was able to help you! To say the man is chock full of

priceless info, is to put it mildly. Anyone that has had the privilege to be

touched by his " gift " is a very lucky person! I have been fortunate to have

seen

him twice & not only has he helped me, but both of my parents & a friend, who is

46 & has C.P. If I hadn't been there & seen it myself, I wouldn't have

believed it. But now, @ 2 weeks after Mike treated him, he is still benefiting

from the help he was given by Mike.

Briefly, that night was the first time in 46 years that his legs were

straight! He walked out of my parents place walking on both feet, with only

minor

signs of his C.P. He has been working very hard on retraining his own muscles to

remain in the correct anatomical position, just by concentrating on it &

constantly reminding himself to do so. And this is the part that really has me

blown away....... I have spoken with him on the phone & even his speech is

dramatically improved. I can't tell you that his C.P. signs & symptoms are

gone,

but I would say that at least 50-70% of the physical disabilities that he's

lived with for 46 years were relieved & we are just hoping that it will stay

that way. And no, not even Mike could explain it all. To say that we were all

bewildered, is putting it mildly. I am an R.N. myself & truthfully, nothing

that has happened with this gentleman with C.P., nor myself and/or my parents,

makes any " scientific " sense to me. It just doesn't " fit " with what I was

taught in nursing school.

However, it does " fit " with the additional training that I've personally had,

since nursing school, over the last 30 years, mostly in Massage Therapy,

Hypnosis & Self hypnosis, Therapeutic Touch, as well as some other "

non--traditional " methods of healing. And, it also " fits " with several forms of

therapy

that I've had done to me personally, with great success, including Accupressure,

Accupuncture, Reikki, Biofeedback, Chiropractic Care (starting since I was

born, almost 50 years ago) & then of course the multifaceted methods that Mike

uses.

And, as many of us have done & should really do, I plan to write out a

separate narrative & post it to the list, of what Mike did for me & what the

current

status is, so that others who don't know Mike will have more of an idea of

some of the things that Mike has done and even more importantly, so that Mike

knows what the results of his work have been.

Hey, Can anyone out there who has the CEDA CD about EDS information for

Doctors possibly lend me a copy, overnight it to me? I have a new Physical

Therapist, who really wants to research the disorder before he lays a hand on

me,

which I really appreciate. I have sent him to the CEDA and EDNF websites. I am

trying to order the CD for myself, but my computer keeps crashing on me, and

it will take a while to get here. He wants to start working on me this week.

He will be doing myofacial release and Massage. (Mike Uggen, He will NOT be

doing Rolfing... we discussed it...) I told him the harder he touches me, the

deeper my bruising will be, thanks for the warning!.

If anyone can lend it to me, I swear I will send it back. Oh, and i will pay
