If you have any availability of either ambulances, individual medic personnel or ASTLs for possible deployment to the Valley, please contact Maxie Bishop at maxie.bishop@... () and copy NCTTRAC at labedrich@... so that we can help keep you informed. If you do not have your DSHS MOA signed yet, Maxie can help you facilitate that pretty quickly. You will be reimbursed by contract within 30 days of the submission of your complete paperwork. I know some of you are waiting on reimbursement from other state agencies; we are not trying to prevent you from committing to anyone else, but also wanting you to be aware of this opportunity as well. Remember that it is not just your personnel cost but also vehicle and personnel backfill that is reimbursable. Please see the MOAs for more information. This is the link to the MOAs: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/emstraumasystems/MOAPage.shtm If you need an MOA for your individuals, ASTLs or MIST personnel, use the MOA for EMS Personnel which is designed specifically for those folks and their non-ambulance vehicles. Otherwise for ambulances, use the ground or air MOA as appropriate. Thanks for your service. LAB Leigh Anne Bedrich www.NCTTRAC.org
